Vanmate is a lifting and handling solution for delivery drivers
HOW MUCH AND HOW HIGH CAN IT LIFT?
Depending on configuration, VanMate lifts up to 250kg SWL up to 1200mm. We develop the product continuously, so please get in touch if you have a requirement to lift higher or heavier.
How much does it weigh?
The heaviest component part of any VanMate system is 16kg or less, making it easily manageable for one person. Fully assembled systems range from 28-50kg.
How much does it cost?
VanMate Lifting kits start from £745, additional attachments start from £30 each.
How long does it take to get the system ready?
One person can safely disassemble VanMate for transport or storage under 15 seconds, allowing fast and efficient goods movement.
How is it powered?
VanMate benefits from requiring zero power to operate, making it lightweight and deployable anywhere without the need for fuel or recharging. If you have batteries, keep them for your torch!
What if I want to handle more than one load?
Attachments and trolleys are universally compatible with the mast. Adding to your kit later is a cost effective way to increase the system capability without the need to buy and operate multiple pieces of equipment.
Does it require installation?
VanMate lifters are completely portable and do not require permanent installation into a vehicle, however:
- Components can be hung on vehicle walls and doors for transport using our purpose designed brackets which start from £4 each. These brackets require relatively simple DIY installation.
- Slider systems require partial installation into a vehicle and don’t require any special tools or qualification for installation.
What is a Vanmate Slider?
VanMate Slider is a method of manoeuvring goods on a rail and tray system inside a vehicle, without the need to climb inside to manhandle goods to the bulkhead for securing. Suitable for vans of various sizes for both side and rear entry doors.
Does it require maintenance or inspection?
In accordance with LOLER regulations, the equipment must be inspected a minimum of every 12 months. Unlike tail lifts and cranes, LOLER inspections do not require testing with a vehicle. Our LOLER inspection fee is £15 per unit and we can also carry out on-site servicing where required.
Does it require an operator license to use?
No, any competent person who is familiar with VanMate operating instructions can use the equipment safely.
Is it certified, and does it meet PUWER regulations?
Yes, All VanMate systems are designed, manufactured and tested to meet the relevant lifting standards below.

VanMate systems have an EC Declaration of Conformity in accordance with BS EN ISO/IEC 17050-1:2010 and are supplied with full user guide. And of course, if you have any further questions, simply get in touch.
What if I need to lift something different?
We design and develop new VanMate components in-house on a regular basis; for various types of load and circumstances. Get in touch with us directly to discuss your requirements. However, please don’t modify a VanMate as this will invalidate the warranty and CE certification for the device. Get in touch, our advice is free of charge.
